Dear Extensive Readers,
I have found a wonderful site that we will be using as an extra support for our class that I hope will be beneficial in learning new vocabulary and also to practice important skills such as listening and comprehension. For your first assignment I want you to choose an American Story to read and listen and then to write a summary to check for comprehension. Just like in this class the focus is reading to help with vocabulary and comprehension. This will also help in listening skills. I suggest writing new vocabulary words in your journal as always.

You will read the story while listening to it and then write your summary in our classroom blog. You can write your summary in the form of a short review of the reading.

I read a book "keesh" is written by Jack London. Because I had read "World call the wild" which is the same an author, it is a reason why did I chose this book.
ReplyDeleteThis story about hunter who is very good at to hunt, but he was dead. And then his son became hunter.
I could learn how should I live well and wisdom is very important from this story. I couldn't guess climax, so I was so exited.
